Kindle Fire For Preschool?

This past Christmas we purchased a Kindle Fire for our family.  Wow!  What a neat gadget.  Despite all the games, books, movies and music that the Kindle Fire can play, we have learned how instrumental it can be for our 4 year old.

Kids are learning at a faster and more computerized pace these days.  In fact we were blown away this Christmas, when our 4 year preschooler asked Santa for an Ipod Touch.  They get it!  So…..

I can either do one of two things.  I can damper their learning and keep them using the more traditional methods…e.g. books, etc or I can embrace the movement of technology, being that is where everything is headed and give them every opportunity that it provides.  Of course, this technology can be supervised with parental controls and more.
